Antiquefest
September 29 - October 7, 2012
Special events and offers from dealers along the southern Maine coast.






Goal: To increase awareness of the many antique shops on or close by to Route One by creating a destination event.

Participation:  Open to any antique shop in Southern Maine that wishes to participate from Kittery to Arundel. Please click here to be directed to the list of 2011 participants.

Promotion: The chamber will develop an antiques trail map of all participating shops.  The map will be available at the shops.  The event will be publicized through the chamber website, newspapers, social media, event calendars and the participating antique shops and galleries.  Participating shops will be provided with a logo promoting the event.  Shops are encourage to feature a specialty during the time of the event.

Background information:  Last year the Chamber sponsored its first Artfest.  It proved to be successful and we will be doing it again the first weekend in October.  We have been approached by several antique shop owners and asked about sponsoring an event for antiques that is similar to Artfest. This year will begin what will become an annual event for our antique dealers.
